I am the student of Electronics engineering so i want to share my experience related to it

Electronics engineering is core branch just like mechanical engineering.

There is large scope in Electronics but not in India.

In India there is not enough infrastructure to produce electronics items. there are software giant but very poor in core electronics.

I have completed my Electronics engineering from Sai Nath University, Ranchi Bihar

You enjoy your 1st year.

3rd+4th Semester of Electronics engineering is very important . in this you are in real electronics world. here you have to decide in which field you want to go.

according to me you should join networking or Robotics classes for core interested students and JAVA for software interested students. This is the time when you learn about the industries. [not only for certificates.]

in the last year you can either make project in Core electronics or in Software.

You have good knowledge of embedding/Networking/Robotics/C/C++/Java.

when your engineering is over . Different companies are going to visit your campus. [sit in placement drives].

You need to sharpen your knowledge in Aptitude and technical for placement drives. You Need excellent communication skills too.
