Kidney stones or renal calculi, are solid masses made of small stones. Kidney stones mainly originate in your kidneys. Though, they can develop anywhere along the urinary tract among kidney, ureter, bladder, urethra part. Kidney stones are one of the most painful disease in medical health.

There are 5 types of kidney stones and they are calcium oxalate, calcium phosphate, struvite, uric acid and cysteine. And calcium oxalate is the most common type of kidney stone found in human body.

Every day and ever hour in our urine the compositions of calcium oxalate, calcium phosphate, struvite, Uric acid and cysteine continuously coagulate. If they start to accumulate then it turns into a stone. Well ever day in our kidney stones are created but their size is very small that we cannot see them in open eye and harmless also. But if they start to coagulate in a large number then it leads to a big stone that cannot pass through urine.

It first gets coagulated in the junction of kidney and ureter and it is less painful. Then it gets stuck in iliac artery and possibility of pain is very high. When it gets to bladder then it is most painful and sometimes if the size of stone is big then bloods come out with urine.

In the modern medication it is treated by surgery or by micro surgery. But possibility of getting kidney stone again is also there for surgeries.
