What Percentage Does YouTube Take From Ads?
According to Youtube Channel Promotion Service, google takes 45% of ad revenue when you generate an ad.
Google provides the platform, the audience, the bandwidth, the hosting, the advertisers, and everything that is needed to support that. Their 45% covers the cost of that and ensures that they make a profit.
That’s not actually a bad deal. If you have the same ads running on your own website through AdSense they take 32%. That means that you get the platform, hosting, bandwidth, and access to their audience for just 13% of gross.
